Jim Wunderlich Series JW9R Hard Vibraphone Mallet from Promark allows you to punch out notes in front of the ensemble while preserving the quality and integrity of tone. Designed by the internationally known and in-demand front ensemble technician Jim Wunderlich, this mallet is part of a nine-mallet series with System Blue these mallets are constructed with a synthetic rubber core and a layer of latex wrapped in a cord. The lush tone of these mallets is a fantastic choice for indoor concerts and marching settings.
Promark injection molds all mallet cores in-house using a patented insert design. They then thread the mallets onto shafts and bond them with epoxy. A proprietary wrapping method allows for variable tension, angle, and index throughout every layer of yarn, which significantly extends the life of the mallet and improves consistency.
