Band Shoppe is proud to offer the highest quality marching band plumes on the market with rich, vibrant colors and high feather counts these plumes are sure to please. All Band Shoppe plumes are dyed utilizing the latest technology in water and mineral based dyes. Fits all styles of shakos with a plume socket attachment using a heavy duty wire. Plumes are available in even lengths from 8 inches to 14 inches in standard colors Black, Columbia, Forest, Gold, Kelly, Maroon, Navy, Orange, Purple, Red, Royal, White, or Yellow. Our shako plumes are custom made for each order, please allow up to 6 weeks for shipment.
Custom Plumes are available in 8″, 10″, 12″, and 14″ standard lengths. Have something in mind but don’t see it here? Call our Band Shoppe Sales Team and we can work with you to create the perfect plume. Options include dye-to-match colors, double dipped plumes, half-and-half plumes, and more!
Colors shown are for reference only. Please be aware that there will be variations in color due to the nature of the dyes. Feather plumes are not colorfast and should not be worn in the rain. Custom plumes are nonreturnable.
The following are the general directions for measuring Marching Band Plumes. Please note that plumes are sized by even numbers and in increments of two inches.
Measure the total length of the plume. Stand the plume on a flat surface, stand a ruler next to the plume, place your finger on the top of the plume wire, and measure. The plume may measure an increment past the inch scale. If this is the case, your finger may not be touching the tip of the wire because the feathers are in the way.
Example: A plume that measures 8½ inches is an 8 inch plume.
Please measure carefully; plumes cannot be altered after manufacturing. If there is uncertainty, please send a plume for specification evaluation or request a sample for comparison. Custom plumes are nonreturnable.
Customization
All feather materials are dyed utilizing the latest technology in water-based mineral dye products. Please be aware that there will be variations in color due to the nature of the dyes as they relate to naturally occurring variations in the feathers. Band Shoppe cannot guarantee exact color matching or color fastness on any dyed feather products.
