These high quality vinyl plumes are are water-resistant and fade resistant. Great for outdoor performances when the weather is unpredictable. Fits all styles of shakos with a plume socket attachment using a heavy duty wire. Plumes are available in 10 inch lengths in standard colors Black, Gold, Maroon, Red, Royal, or White with Silver or Gold mylar. Our shako plumes are custom made for each order, please allow up to 6 weeks for shipment.

How to Measure
The following are the general directions for measuring Marching Band Plumes. Please note that plumes are sized by even numbers and in increments of two inches.
Measure the total length of the plume. Stand the plume on a flat surface, stand a ruler next to the plume, place your finger on the top of the plume wire, and measure. The plume may measure an increment past the inch scale. If this is the case, your finger may not be touching the tip of the wire because the feathers are in the way.
Example: A plume that measures 8½ inches is an 8 inch plume.
Please measure carefully; plumes cannot be altered after manufacturing. If there is uncertainty, please send a plume for specification evaluation or request a sample for comparison. Custom plumes are nonreturnable.
Customization
All feather materials are dyed utilizing the latest technology in water-based mineral dye products. Please be aware that there will be variations in color due to the nature of the dyes as they relate to naturally occurring variations in the feathers. Band Shoppe cannot guarantee exact color matching or color fastness on any dyed feather products.
For dye to match colors please contact our Sales Team for minimums and manufacturing times. Custom plumes are nonreturnable.
